Bangkok Experience
February 14-17, 2024
**This is an optional add-on to Yoga Retreat Thailand**
In the exotic Southern Asian City of Bangkok, Thailand
Why Join us?

I've traveled to Thailand a few times now and I'd love to share this country with you! I'm so excited to set up a retreat that encompasses travel within Thailand's unique landscapes and zestful culture. Spend 7 nights of the retreat in a beach resort retreat center on an uplifting tropical island in Southern Thailand. Filled with expansive beaches and beautiful jungle, this really is the perfect vacation spot. Eat lots of sweet tropical fruit and healthy meals, practice daily all-levels yoga classes, take a boat trip and snorkel through the clear blue waters around famed islands, visit the jungle National Park with monkeys and iguanas, and have plenty of time to relax.
Choose to add-on 3 nights before the retreat in the exotic city of Bangkok exploring the vibrant society, eating delicious food, visiting awe-inspiring temples and unforgettable open-air markets.

Allow your heart to be touched and perspectives shifted by this once-in-a-lifetime journey!

I frequently hear people say, "I've always wanted to go to Thailand!" and still they haven't gone. I get it! It can feel overwhelming to plan a trip to somewhere so foreign. That's where we come in!
Enjoy the ease of having all the details arranged for you, be accompanied by amazing local guides (myself and my husband Anto who has been to Thailand many times over the last 8 years), plus have fun traveling with a like-minded group. All you really have to do is say yes and book your airfare!

We're offering a 3-night stay in fabulous Bangkok for the ultimate Thailand experience!

Since you'll be flying through Bangkok (most likely - this is hub for international flights), why not arrive early and spend a few extra days enjoying all the city has to offer: a rich culture, history, stunning architecture, delicious food, and time to explore.
Anto will meet you at Bangkok's International Airport: Suvarnabhumi Airport and be your guide.
Be sure to visit the Bangkok Bonus webpage for all the details on this opportunity.

The Places You'll Visit

BANGKOK
This is our meeting point to begin the trip! If you join us for the Bangkok Experience, you will arrive early and have 3 extra nights here to explore the culture of the city, visit the uniquely beautiful Buddhist temples and learn the history, visit Ayutthaya, the archaeological UNESCO heritage site that was the capital of the Kingdom of Siam, and see (and taste) the most incredible street food!
If you do not join us for the Bangkok Experience, Krabi will be your landing point - you'll arrive on February 21, 2024 and we will depart for the island of Koh Lanta together as a group, from the Krabi Airport.

KOH LANTA
Koh Lanta is a delightfully exotic island, thanks to its remote location, pristine beaches and pleasant weather. It’s known for coral-fringed beaches, mangroves, limestone outcrops and rainforests. It comprises 52 islands in the southernmost region of Thailand's Krabi Province, of which the largest and best-known is Koh Lanta Yai. Friendly locals and its unspoiled nature are main attractions. Misty mountains abound in some areas, especially down south, in the natural park which has caves and a waterfall. The islands' lush jungle, clean sandy beaches and crystal-clear water make for a relaxing retreat.

Practice morning yoga and meditation, eat nourishing breakfasts and lunches, deepen your practice with a yoga workshop, enjoy the oasis style pool, explore the different areas of the island, take a cooking class, go on a boat trip and snorkel around smaller islands, shop for colorful Thai clothing, get inexpensive and wonderful massages on the beach, and finally after evening yoga, observe the glorious sunset in a beach bar or cafe.

Like all good things, our trip will come to an end with a flight back to Bangkok for your journey home, but you will always carry with you the memories of this unique and unforgettable experience!
