Why Join me?

I've been living in this beautiful remote part of Spain for over 5 years now, and I'd love to share it with you! Spain is so much more alluring and interesting with its history and rich culture than I had known, and now that I do, I think you'd have an amazing time experiencing it!

Spend a full fun-filled all-inclusive week, 7 nights, in authentic rural and luxury accommodations in the middle of the mountain, in the Nature Reserve of Southern Spain. Being its own biosphere, and due to its unique location in the peninsula, this area is filled with many different types of flora and fauna. The combination of the cold wind from the Atlantic Ocean mixing with the warm air of the Mediterranean Sea have brought all kinds of plant and animal life to this corner of the world over thousands of years.

In fact, humans have been living here since prehistory! One of our exciting tour excursions is to see a PALEOLITHIC cave with the most cave paintings in all of Europe. With stalactites and stalagmites and intriguing stories of what it was like for the pre-historic people that lived there, this is just one of the fascinating tour excursions we'll do!

With daily all-levels vinyasa yoga classes, healthy Mediterranean vegetarian meals, and spending time with like-minded individuals, your body, mind, and heart will be happy and well-nourished. Out of the retreat center we'll explore the area, like visiting one of the most beautiful and unique cities in Spain, Ronda, with its wildly impressive architecture and Moorish history. We'll soak in an Arab style spa, a Hammam, and then see a truly authentic Flamenco show performed by a family of gypsies who've been living in Ronda for multiple generations. We'll taste local wine and eat local gourmet products in the village of Setenil de las Bodegas, amazing to see since it is built as caves, underneath the rock mountainside! We'll hike around the retreat center mountain to get a feel for the area, soaking up the warmth under the clear blue skies listening to the array of birds singing in the Spanish sunshine. We'll probably also see the famed Payoyo goat that only lives in this region of Spain, and from which award-winning goat cheese is made! (Yes, we'll also taste this delicious cheese.)

The retreat accommodations are Spanish villas scattered around the mountainside. Equipped with air conditioners and super comfortable beds, you'll sleep so peacefully. There are 5 crisp blue saltwater swimming pools with lounges and sunshades surrounded by the nature. The yoga shala space holds a lovely meditative feel to get grounded, healthy, and whole in this part of the world where people have lived well since pre-history.

Allow your senses and your heart to be touched by this exquisite area while getting to know this unique part of the world!

You know, I've actually heard many people say that they would to travel Spain, to get out of the US and see and learn about a new place. Now's your chance! I understand that traveling takes a lot of planning especially going to another continent with a new culture with a different language, but, that's one of the reasons I'm organizing this retreat. To help you to get out and travel, especially in this way where it's easy for you, because everything's organized, included, and already figured out! All you have to do is get to the airport in Malaga, Spain!

The Magical Location!

Designated a Unesco Biosphere reserve in 1977, the Sierra de Grazalema was declared the first natural park in Andalucia in 1984 and is one of Spain's most ecologically outstanding areas. The Sierra de Grazalema is famous for its spectacularly rugged limestone landscape of cliffs, gullies, caves and gorges, along with the mountains.

Dotted around the sierra are attractive pueblos blancos (white-washed villages), one of which, El Gastor, is 3 kilometers from the retreat center. According to BBC Travel, this is best place to hike in Andalucia. Surrounded by lush mountains in the middle of the Nature Reserve, the Andalusian sunlight illuminates the surrounding panoramic views.

Come on and join me to take this time for yourself for personal growth by experiencing a new land. Focused on well-being, and fun, this is an awesome healthy vacation!
